Energy-efficient lighting systems have been installed in all classrooms of the Western Bicutan National High School (WBNHS), benefiting some 80 faculty members and 4,000 students under the DOE Pilot Study on Promoting Energy Efficiency and Conservation in a Public High School. The project was made possible through public-private partnership among the Department of Energy, Philips Electronics & Lighting Inc., Municipality of Taguig, Barangay Western Bicutan and WBNHS. A commemorative plaque was also unveiled at the school entrance to mark the event.
