The PELP Online Registration System was launched on August 12, 2021, which started with the PELP Company Registration, followed by the start of PELP Product Registration and Energy Label Issuance. All manufacturers, importers, distributors, and retailers of energy-consuming products (ECPs) are enjoined to register their existing and upcoming product models to the PELP System.
As of June 30, 2023, a total of one hundred fifteen (115) companies have successfully registered in the PELP system, and 6,084 energy consuming products have been approved and registered under the PELP. Furthermore, the DOE has issued a total of 4,319 energy labels for air conditioners (1,621 models), lighting products (1,132 models), refrigerators (746 models) and television sets (820 models).
