Solar PV Business Opportunities and Company Accreditation with the Rural Power Project

The Rural Power Project (RPP) of the Department of Energy (DOE) is inviting local companies to consider participating in the Renewable Energy business, particularly solar PV. The RPP promotes the use and commerical development of solar PV through a variety of incentives. The RPP Project Management Office (PMO) set-up within the DOE is encouraging your business participation and accreditation.
Investment Opportunities in the Philippines Rural Power Project

The Department of Energy (DOE) has received financing from Global Environment Facility (GEF), through the World Bank, towards the cost of the Rural Power Project (RPP). The RPP promotes the use of renewable energy technologies, particularly solar PV systems, on commercial basis in partnership with private companies (solar PV systems suppliers) and microfinance credit providers. 
Sustainable Solar Market Package 2 (SSMP2)

The Government of the Philippines through its Department of Energy (DOE) has embarked on a number of comprehensive and innovative measures towards achieving the goal of 100% village (barangay) electrification by 2009 and 90% household electrification by 2017. These measures include new approaches to implementation of electrification projects to enhance sustainability and greater private sector participation and investments.
