calibration / instrumentation & control

1. Maintain a set of calibration standards for in-house calibration of DOE-LATL instruments.

2. Render instrument calibration services to LATL clients.

3. Conduct research and studies to improve over-all plant efficiency through proper application of measurement and calibration principles.

4. Provide technical assistance in the design of calibration and measurement system.

5. Provide consultancy on instrumentation and control specifically on energy monitoring instruments.

6. Conduct on-the-job training/orientation Programs in support of the academe, the energy sector and the industry.

7. Coordinate with various DOE units and concerned government agencies, academe, energy sector and other stakeholders on matters related to the above enumerated functions.
