| The 2011 National Renewable Energy Program (NREP) Planning Session. In its long standing initiative in working towards energy security and independence, the Department of Energy (DOE) through its Renewable Energy Management Bureau (REMB) has conducted the 2011 National Renewable Energy Program Planning Session attended by DOE officials and employees from REMB, Energy Policy and Planning Bureau (EPPB) and Electric Power Industry Management Bureau (EPIMB) at the Taal Vista Lodge, Tagaytay City on January 16-18, 2011. The National Renewable Energy Program serves as a necessary groundwork in scaling up the renewable energy initiatives and increasing the country’s renewable energy capacity through determination of issues and challenges confronting renewable energy development. |
