    The System Loss Reduction Program will continue to be implemented by all private utilities (Pus) and rural electric cooperatives (RECs)

    Republic Act 7832, or the anti-Pilferage of electricity and theft of electric Transmission Lines/ Materials Act, promulgated in 1994, mandated electric utilities to cut down on system loss to ensure that power rates reflect only actual consumption.
