Heat Rate Improvement in Power Plant

A continuing endeavor to improve the operational capability of thermal, coal and diesel power plant in order to increase plant availability, increase output, improve operating efficiency, extend plant life, and reduce operating cost. It’s main objective is to bring the actual performance level of all NPC and IPPs generating units close to their optimum performance levels.
Power plants shall have to comply with Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) heat rate compliance of 10,850 BTU/kWh for oil-based and 9,773 BTU/kWh for coal-fired power plant.
